The collection consists of papers of Columbus Roberts from 1936-1948. The papers include correspondence, clippings, press releases for his 1940 gubernatorial campaign, a typescript (with corrections) biography of Roberts written by Spright Dowell, and a scrapbook (1948) containing clippings documenting Roberts' tenure on the Georgia Milk Control Board. The correspondence mainly pertains to Roberts' donations to Baptist colleges in Georgia and the Georgia Baptist Convention.
